Richard Bennett

Hello Sergio,

It’s Richard Bennett here. Many thanks for your very kind words and especially the Soundcloud link to your album. I’ve listened to everything and it really hits a sweet spot with me. Your original tunes are great, well written and of course melodic. Your playing and tone is beautiful. Is this your first album or simply the first in this very melodic style.

I completely agree with the idea that the guitar could be though of as the “voice” of an instrumental rather than mad soloing all the time. It’s something that I missed so much over the years and when I did my first solo album about 10 years ago I really wanted to emphasise that “voice” concept. Glad to hear you feel the same.
It’s nice to make your acquaintance and many thanks for sharing your new album with me, I hope it does great and opens a few eyes again to melodic guitar playing. Well done.

All the best,

Richard
